Lohmueller and Associates is a quickly growing private optometry practice. We're seeking a hard working team member to be an optician and optometric tech in order to help us in our mission.
About This Position:
The opticians make sure our patients understand the best lens and frame options so they receive a great pair of eyewear. Our optometric tech continues the first impression by performing the pre-testing workups to get the patient ready to be seen by the doctor.
Other details about this position:
-Understands frame and lens options and can make professional recommendations.
-Uses instruments such as retinal cameras, auto-refractors and OCTs to obtain diagnostic data for the doctor. Training provided.
-Can communicate effectively with the patient to learn their reason for visit and symptoms, as well as record their medical history.
