At Alvarez Family Medical, we are committed to continuing to provide quality, compassionate, and accessible care to our patients and families. Due to the rising costs of medical supplies, services, and overall operational expenses, there will be a small increase in membership pricing and flat rate fees beginning today for new members. Current members will see the increase in pricing beginning 7/1/2026.

This decision was not made lightly, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Your support and trust in our clinic mean so much to us, and we remain dedicated to serving our community with the personalized care you deserve.

**4 Tips for Healthy Blood Pressure**

Want to keep your blood pressure in check?
These four lifestyle changes can make a real difference:

**1. Eat the DASH Way** 🥗

Focus on fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and low-fat dairy. Cut back on salt—aim for less than 2,300 mg per day (that's about 1 teaspoon). Choose fresh foods over processed ones and read those labels!

**2. Maintain a Healthy Weight** ⚖️

Losing just 5% of your body weight can significantly lower your blood pressure. Even small changes add up—every kilogram lost helps!

**3. Get Moving** 🚶‍♀️

Aim for 150 minutes of moderate exercise per week (like brisk walking) or 75 minutes of vigorous activity (like jogging). Find what you enjoy and make it a habit!
