What an amazing night! On Saturday, our Health Foundation presented a check for $10.6 million to MMH at our annual gala. The fundraising efforts aimed to secure $10 million by December 2026.

Thanks to the incredible support of our donors, the Health Foundation exceeded its goal more than a year ahead of schedule. Our community is simply the best!

When Mary Jo Heppner of Batesville went through the difficult experience of losing her husband, she was extremely thankful to MMH's hospice team for their support and guidance.

"During my husband’s final days, the hospice staff was incredible. We called them our angels in disguise. I’m a nurse myself. No matter how much you think you know about caregiving, it’s different when it’s your loved one. Hospice nurses have a special way about them — so helpful and compassionate."

Happy 92nd birthday today to our favorite twins! Born on September 26, 1933, Al Hartman and Dorothy Flaspohler were the first twins born at MMH.

With a combined 20 children, 64 grandchildren and 50+ great-grandchildren, this adorable duo has created an impressive legacy. Happy birthday, Al and Dorothy!
