Sandy brings over 20 years of medical experience to our team and has spent the last 3+ years serving in our Emergency Department with dedication, compassion, and strength. Beyond the hospital walls, she has given 18 years of service to her local Fire Department and spent 10 years caring for residents in assisted living.

Originally from Newnan, GA, Sandy has called Senatobia home since 2002. When she’s not taking care of others, she’s spending time with her husband Gary, their 6 children, 15 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren—a big family full of love!

Last week’s ice storm challenged our community in ways that went far beyond the forecast. Roads were unsafe, power was uncertain, and many were separated from their families. Still, when our patients needed care, our team showed up.

Some braved icy roads to make it in. Others stayed overnight at the hospital, sleeping wherever they could to ensure services continued without interruption. Many stepped up to cover extra shifts or help teammates however needed. Every effort mattered—and none of it went unnoticed.

Because of their dedication, patients were cared for and our community had a place to turn during an unpredictable time. We are incredibly grateful for their resilience, teamwork, and commitment to putting others first. Batesville is stronger because of you, and we are proud of this team every single day. 💙

Panola Medical Center’s 57-bed Behavioral Health facility has grown into a regional clinic, offering Outpatient Services along with Adult Psychiatric, Chemical Dependency and Senior Care Services.
