Enough Is Enough

“I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand
of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey.

Exodus 3:7–8, NKJV

The Israelites had been in slavery for 400 years. Ten generations had been mistreated, abused, and oppressed, though they’d done nothing wrong. Because the Egyptians had a strong army and weapons, it looked like the Israelites would never be free. But the Most High said, “Enough is enough. You couldn’t do anything about it, but I’m coming down to break the chains, deliver you, and bring you into the Promised Land.”

You may be struggling with something that you can look back and see has been passed down to you through generations of your family—an addiction, depression, poverty, guilt, shame, anxiety, insecurity. God knows the negative things you inherited and the results of being raised in a difficult environment. You’ve carried the weight of what was passed down and borne the consequences of other people’s actions long enough. God is going to deliver you from generational baggage and the unfair things in your family line. It’s your time to be free. You are a slave to nothing. Believe that your release has already happened in the unseen realm and is on the way.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that You are a God of justice and You see every negative thing that has been passed down to me. Thank You that the time comes when You say that enough is enough and You break the bondages. I believe that it’s my time to be free, that my release is on the way. We give You all the praise

Seed of Encouragement
Never give up hope... Your prayers are not in vain. God hears your prayers... He is listening and He is answering. The answer sometimes does not come at the exact time that you expect it to or in the way that you want it to BUT GOD ALWAYS sends the answer that is BEST for you!!! God knows things that we don’t know and sees things that we can’t see... what we may think is totally awesome and just what we want may actually be absolutely awful and detrimental to the good plan God has for our lives. Trust Him wholeheartedly and have faith that His way is BEST!!!

Fresh Anointings

Then the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah.
2 Samuel 2:4, NKJV

David was anointed to be the next king of Israel when he was seventeen years old, but he had to go through a season of proving before he took the throne. When David was thirty years old, after Saul was killed in a battle, the men of Judah came and anointed him as their king. Why was David anointed again? God had a fresh anointing for him. He knew David was going to face new battles, new challenges. He was going to need greater wisdom and strength, so God breathed on David’s life in a new way. With this second anointing, David established his throne and conquered new territories, but he wasn’t king over all of Israel, only the tribe of Judah. This second anointing was taking him there.

Be encouraged that what God has started in your life, He’s going to finish. He works in phases. You’re anointed for the season you’re in right now, and when you need more, there are fresh anointings already lined up for you. Favor will increase, doors will open, the right people will show up. Get ready. The fullness is coming.

Prayer For Today

“Father, thank You that You are working in phases in my life and You’re going to finish the work You started. Thank You for the fresh anointings You bring at exactly the right time to meet my needs. I believe You are taking me into new seasons and the fullness is coming. All Praises to our Messiah.
