This week at BCR Jess Marie is giving lesson on inventory. Taking inventory goes beyond just putting names on paper... it uncovers the deeper truths about our inner selves. 🪞 The third column reveals The Effect, showing us how these things have touched our emotions, peace, relationships, and sense of security. Where did it strike? Where did it cause pain? 💔 The fourth column exposes The Damage, highlighting the bitterness, anger, fear, control, isolation, pride, or unhealthy patterns that have taken root. This is the part that perpetuates the cycle if left unchecked. ⚠️ The effect lays bare our wounds... the damage shows us what has grown from those wounds. 🌱 This is why inventory is so crucial - God doesn't just want to reveal our pain; He wants to heal the scars it has left. 🙌 Healing begins when we honestly confront both. ❤️‍🩹

🙏 This Thursday at Celebrate Recovery — Lesson 8: MORAL
We're diving into one of the most powerful steps in the journey — taking a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves. 💛
In Celebrate Recovery, "moral" simply means honest. This lesson is all about openly examining our faults — to ourselves, to God, and to someone we trust — so that healing can truly begin.
📖 "Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the Lord." — Lamentations 3:40
✨ Laura Cole will be sharing the lesson this week, and we know God is going to use her message in a mighty way.
AND — we're sharing a meal together this Thursday, complete with dessert! ❤️ Because community, good food, and grace go hand in hand.
