Job Title: Cardiology APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cardiology APRN to join our healthcare team. The APRN will be responsible for providing primary care services to patients in both an office and hospital setting, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications related to cardiology.
Responsibilities:
Assess patients' cardiovascular health status by conducting physical exams, taking medical histories, and interpreting diagnostic tests
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic cardiovascular illnesses, infections, and injuries
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as ECG, echocardiograms, and angiograms
Prescribe medications and other therapies as appropriate for cardiovascular conditions
Provide counseling and education to patients and families on cardiovascular health promotion and disease prevention
Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in both office and hospital setting
Qualifications:
Current APRN license in the state of practice
Board certification as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (CNP) or similar specialty
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiovascular primary care practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong computer skills and proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Experience working in both office and hospital setting
Education:
Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or similar.
