Wilson’s Drug Store is committed to helping customers in the Bath community. You’ll find every member of our staff to be knowledgeable and accessible. While our commitment to personal service is still the most important aspect of our business, we are constantly expanding to include many patient care services, such as local delivery services, mail services, online refills, diabetic consulting, and

nursing home care. This modernized pharmacy will manage and maintain the intimacy of a neighborhood pharmacy while serving your everyday health needs. We hope you’ll enjoy shopping at Wilson’s Drug Store – it will always be our pleasure to serve you. The building that houses Wilson’s Drug Store was built in 1837 after a fire that burned many homes and businesses in Bath, Maine. It was owned by Lewis E. Wilson from 1915 – 1967 and after he sold his business in 1967 he continued working until he retired in 1972. In 1981 Wilson’s was purchased by John Desjardins who still owns and works here every day.

To my Wilson’s Pharmacy Customers;
Wilson’s Pharmacy, my home when I’m not home, is closing. Working in the front of store and the Pharmacy has been my pleasure and like the rest of the staff from owner to pharmacist to sales help, I have grown to love the people and pets that stop by to say hello, pick up your medicine or buy a t shirt or card. I have loved working in the city where my father was born and raised, where my Grandparents added to the fabric of the city, working and serving Bath at Bath Savings and the Guild at Bath Hospital. I think of my time at Wilson’s so fondly, the people that I have met from all corners of the area and from the world have enriched me, brightened my day and brought to me more than I sent across the counter to them. The people who welcomed me into their homes when I deliver medications and may have thanked me for a bit of extra attention are like an extended family and I will miss you and anything that I did only added to the pleasure of working. The four-legged furry customers who stop to get a treat and a stroke of fur, I may miss you the most. Please know that I will try to keep some treats in my purse or pocket and don’t be surprised if I stop and speak to you as I walk around my neighborhood because I have lived and worked within a walk to Wilson’s. I am old enough to have learned that time and change are constant. Old time businesses like Wilson’s are rare. I have been more than honored to be a small part of it and I will surely miss it.
