Congratulations to Dr. Lin Dang, for being elected to a one-year term as chief of the medical staff of Woman’s Hospital, the highest elected leadership position among the medical staff.

Dr. Dang is a board-certified OB/GYN who is dedicated to providing expert, compassionate care to women of all ages. This is a continuation of her commitment to leadership and innovation at Woman’s having served as past vice chief of staff, past chair of the Medical Staff Peer Review and currently serving as the chair of the Medical Executive Committee. As chief of staff, she will also serve on the Woman’s Board of Directors.

A Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) in the NICU provides emotional support, education, and resources for the whole family. A CCLS is dedicated to helping families navigate the needs that come with a newborn’s hospitalization.

What this role typically requires:
• Bachelor’s degree in Child Life, Child Development, Family Studies, or related field
• Certification (or eligibility) through the Association of Child Life Professionals (ACLP)
• One year of hospital‑based child life experience (preferred)• Understanding of the emotional and medical challenges of NICU care

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years of experience in behavioral or mental health
• Inpatient experience (highly preferred)
• Certified Nursing Assistant (highly preferred)
• Mental Health Technician certification (highly desired)
