Thinking about a future in Respiratory Therapy? This critical role supports patients of all ages with life-saving treatments and care, especially in intensive care settings. Respiratory Therapists work closely with physicians to develop individualized care plans and often play a key role in the NICU and ICU.

Here are the general qualifications needed to enter this career:
• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
• Current Louisiana state license and NBRC credentialing
• NICU or Pediatric experience is highly preferred
• Graduating students are welcome to pursue this path
