📸 Proud Moment for EBR CNP!

Our Child Nutrition Program staff had the honor of standing alongside Superintendent Lamont Cole and Associate Superintendent Adam Smith to receive a generous $10,000 grant from ExxonMobil!

💛 Thank you, ExxonMobil, for investing in our students, families, and community. This support will help us expand our Summer Feeding Lunch on the Geaux program, ensuring more children across East Baton Rouge Parish have access to nutritious meals all summer long.

Together, we are fueling minds, filling hearts, and feeding the future! 🚌🥗✨

This week's Tray of the Week from EBRP Child Nutrition Program evokes the cozy feeling of fall. Students enjoyed oven baked turkey roast, steamed brown rice with gravy, a whole baked grown sweet potato, seasoned green beans, a fresh orange, soft roll and cold milk! Yum! Louisiana Farm to School Program School Nutrition Association of Louisiana Louisiana Sweet Potatoes October marks Farm to School Month, a time to celebrate the growing connection between schools, local farmers, and sustainable food systems. Look out for more local food in schools as we continue our Tray of the Week Campaign!

We are thrilled to share that EBR Child Nutrition Program has been awarded a $45,000 grant from No Kid Hungry! 🥞🍎 This generous support will help us expand our breakfast program, ensuring more students start their day with the healthy meals they need to learn and succeed.

A huge thank you to No Kid Hungry for investing in our students and their future. 💛 Together, we’re making sure hunger never stands in the way of learning.
