On Thursday, September 11, 2025, we invite you to join us for EBR Child Nutrition Program’s Grandparent’s Day Lunch as we honor and celebrate these very special people in our lives.

This isn’t just a meal — it’s a chance to sit together, share smiles, and create memories that last long after the plates are cleared. 💕✨

🍴 Menu:

Creamy Chicken Pasta 🍝

We are thrilled to share that EBR Child Nutrition Program has been awarded a $45,000 grant from No Kid Hungry! 🥞🍎 This generous support will help us expand our breakfast program, ensuring more students start their day with the healthy meals they need to learn and succeed.

A huge thank you to No Kid Hungry for investing in our students and their future. 💛 Together, we’re making sure hunger never stands in the way of learning.

We’ve loved being part of your summer — one tasty box at a time! From tasty breakfast pizza to yummy spaghetti, we’ve packed each kit with care to keep your kiddos full and fueled for fun. 🍓🥪🍽️

Due to inclement weather, all Lunch on the Geaux sites will be CLOSED today for the safety of our staff and families.

However, school-based summer feeding sites will remain OPEN, and Meal Brunch Kit pick-up at Northeast Elementary is still happening as scheduled! 📦🍓
Pick-up is from 10am-1pm.
