We always hear optometrists speaking about getting a yearly eye exam, but why is it so important? Doctor Durlacher recommends getting an annual eye exam, to ensure an accurate prescription, and more importantly, to make sure there is no glaucoma development. Question of the day: What's the difference between transition and sunglass lenses? Transition lenses provide clear lenses indoors, then transition into sunglasses lenses when exposed to UV rays. Sunglass lenses are tinted lenses that are dark all the time. The transition lenses will never get as dark as a truly tinted sunglass lens. The more you know!
