What a weekend! Brought my colleagues Michael King and Malcolm Muirhead of MKPILATES in to Baton Rouge and New Orleans for some Pilates workshops, starting at Yoglates on Perkins mat class, continuing on to my studio for private sessions and then the three of us taught a weekend at Oschner Fitness center for a teacher training course! Wonderful students and a great turnout!!

Simply Pilates By Cecile is a Pilates Studio in Baton Rouge, LA that specializes in Private and Semi Private instruction on the Pilates Equipment. The Studio is conveniently located at 3617 Perkins Rd. suite 2c in Acadian Plaza

Cecile Bankston is a 30 year veteran in the Pilates industry, and has taught Pilates internationally. Much of Cecile’s travels involved teaching certification, continuing education, and workshops for Pilates teachers.

Cecile has been featured on the cover of Fitness Journal magazine and appears in over 20 DVD’s. She is a regular visiting instructor on the popular website Pilates Anytime which streams live videos of the worlds most prominent teachers. She has created programs for the LSU athletic training department as well as the LSU women’s tennis team.

Cecile has now returned to Baton Rouge full time to teach at her studio, and could not be happier with the experience of teaching her wonderful array of clients here in Baton Rouge.
