Today was the launch of our first class! What a great day of learning. Both of these ladies have been having guns and shooting their whole lives. Each of them learned some very valuable information about the legalities and gun safety they didn’t know before. As in, home defense and safety, basic handgun safety, and what to do if you have to pull and use your protection device, even if it’s not concealed, open Carry, traveling with your weapon in other states, or in even your home where you just keep your weapon at the beside to protect you and your family just incase. Now, these ladies can decide if they will apply for their concealed permit and/or carry. This class is about education, safety and your rights as a responsible gun owner. It gives you and educated choice. And ultimately that is what we need. Thank you so much for being our first two clients! Great job Angel and Cammie. Education >Fear

Not everyone is comfortable with a Gun. But our personal protection this day and age is critical! Here are some great “non lethal” options to look out for.
I love this pepper pellet gun as it can be worn like your weapon and will shoot pepper pellets instead of a stream of spray up to 13ft away at 112 mph. This will allow you to stay at a good distance, protect yourself and give you a quick advantage to retreat.
Handheld tasers and pepper spray are also effective, however usually at close to direct contact. These are great options for protection for areas unable to carry your weapon (follow all state and local guidelines for all personal protection equip including but not limited to guns/knives/tasers/pepper spray etc) or if you are not of the legal age in your state to carry.

“I just feel the crime here makes you feel very unsafe to go anywhere. I can’t imagine being a girl alone. I used to actually live off of Government St. I’ve heard gunshots multiple times living off Government St. so I moved hoping to find somewhere better,” he recalled. “I’ve been stopped at that train tracks multiple times when I’ve left Government St. I don’t feel safe stopping there or any red light for that matter. That could have easily been me. I don’t feel safe going out at night especially alone. A lot of my friends go out and it could have been them, someone I know.”

We will be holding a free, short informational online meeting session regarding choosing your own personal protection device.

Many first time gun buyers are women, and they are often unsure of how to purchase their personal protection device whether it be a gun or taser pepper spray etc. We go in the shop, we’re very overwhelmed, get lots of suggestions from other gun owners, significant others, family members, the store owners, the sales person, or we are even gifted a gun or weapon bc we don’t know what we don’t know.

But the person that needs to be confident comfortable with their device is the person carrying that device. We will help you narrow that down and come up with a way to understand how to choose your own personal protection piece.
