Road trip snack confession: there are so many good reasons you choose the snacks you do...

🍫 Nourishment
😌 Satiety
⚡ Fuel for energy
😋 Taste-bud satisfaction
🧡 And sometimes… pure nostalgia (Buc-ee’s Beaver Nuggets, anyone??)

You never have to restrict your choices. Truly.

But adding a few nutrient-dense options into the mix?
That can be the difference between feeling sluggish or feeling alert, present, and energized so you can actually enjoy your travels. (Think: protein, fiber, and quality fats.)

On my recent road trip, I stopped at Circle K to see what fun finds they had (really, we needed to fill up the tank, but I had fun walking around the store, too!) And honestly, you can make any gas station snack run work for you.

Swipe through for the goodies I spotted as great options for energy and blood sugar balance on the go. 🚗💨✨

Save this post for your next road trip!

If you’re looking for a trauma-free wellness coach, I’m your girl — right here in Baton Rouge and supporting women across St. George, Ascension and beyond.

I apply functional nutrition — the kind that actually looks at what’s happening inside your body so we can support your energy, mood, metabolism, digestion, stress… all of it. This is the nutritional therapy lens that gives you real, strategic, personalized support, not quick fixes.

But we're not stopping there.

We also dig into the tough stuff most people avoid:
• the food rules you’ve carried for years
• the limiting beliefs that keep you stuck
• the lies diet culture taught you about what it means to “look” or “feel” healthy

My work lives at the intersection of what your body needs and what your mindset believes is possible — because lasting change needs both.

And you deserve change that feels good and shows up strong... not change that shrinks you into a standard.

If you’re ready for support that’s rooted in reality, compassion, and unapologetic honesty… I’m here.
(Comfort is not always guaranteed — but a coach who has your back ABSOLUTELY is.)

Navigating the holidays doesn’t have to mean swinging between “be good” and “I’ll fix it in January.”

I’m hosting a conversation this month about how to move through the season with less pressure, less food noise, and more calm.

No rules, no restriction, no starting over on January 1st.

We’ll talk about why the all-or-nothing cycle never works, how to enjoy seasonal foods without guilt, and what it looks like to stay grounded when routines go off the rails.

If you want support, clarity, or just a reset for your mindset — join us.

I’d love to see you there. Grab your ticket here:

People often assume my story is simple:
“She lost 100 pounds and kept it off for a decade.”

A neat little headline, like a success trophy on my shelf.

But the real story?

It lived in the shadows between meals, in the restless nights, and the quiet moments when my body and mind weeped “enough” and I kept pushing anyway.

Behind the before-and-after?

There was chronic undereating, way too many workouts, a slowing metabolism running on fumes, years of weight swings, strict food rules that eventually exploded into bingeing, constant anxiety, obsessing over food, a worn-down immune system, fertility struggles, and a body that felt like it was waving a white flag.

This isn’t a confession.

It’s a reminder:
What we praise on the surface can be built on patterns that quietly destroy us underneath.

My healing didn’t begin when the scale cooperated. It began when I stopped worshiping it.

When I chose nourishment over numbers.

When I stopped trying to earn my worth and started learning my needs.

If you’re in that place — where things “look fine” on the outside but something inside feels brittle and breaking — you deserve more.

You don’t have to keep guessing what your body is trying to tell you.

✨ If you’re ready for support… or just a place where someone will hold space… I’m here.

👉 DM to start rewriting your story today.

Your body has been carrying the burden long enough.

Thanksgiving can stir up a lot of food noise — especially if you’ve dealt with food anxiety, restriction, or that familiar “I need to be good today” script sneaking back in.

If this week feels heavy, I get it.

And you don’t have to white-knuckle your way through it.

Swipe through for three strategies to stay grounded and help you shift the focus away from the plate and back toward connection, presence, and actually enjoying the day.

🍽️ Give yourself permission to eat
💛 Reframe the holiday
🕊️ Remember: it’s just one day

Your body doesn’t need perfection.

It needs compassion, support, and space to just be human.

And if you want a little extra lightness in your day, head to my stories to grab a Thanksgiving Bingo activity I made — a tiny way to have fun during a holiday that can feel complicated.
