We turned back the clock and brought the magic of prom right here to our community this week! Residents at St. James Place dressed to impress, striking poses at our festive photo backdrop and sharing cherished memories from their own high school proms. Thanks to the Lee Serio Band for playing our favorites!

From a proud resident’s sacalait catch to a great egret enjoying its own bluegill, Lake Griffin at St. James Place is full of moments that remind us how connected we are to nature. Even a tiny ruby-throated hummingbird nest tucked away nearby tells a story of quiet beauty and new beginnings.

St. James Place residents experienced the wild beauty of Louisiana like never before. Our trip to McGee’s Swamp Tours gave us a true front-row seat to the heart of the Bayou, where every turn revealed something unforgettable. With Captain Skip leading the way, the swamp came alive - calling gators up close and sharing stories of the swamp.
We wrapped up the day at Pat’s Fisherman’s Wharf, where incredible food and even better company made the perfect ending.
A true Louisiana day from start to finish - memorable, meaningful, and already on the list to do again.
