Your recovery does not start and stop in the clinic 👀
Sleep. Stress. Training load. What’s going on in your day to day life all plays a role in how fast you progress and how well your body heals.
Sometimes the smartest move is not pushing harder… it is knowing when to pull back and let your body catch up.
💬 Be honest… are you team push through it or team rest when needed

Healing hits different when your PT has lived it too 💙
There’s something powerful about knowing the person guiding you has been through the same setbacks, the same doubts, and the same long road back. It brings a level of understanding and encouragement that you cannot fake.
Where you are right now is not where you will stay. Progress is possible and we are here to walk it with you every step of the way.

The moments in between matter too 💬
That is where we connect, check in, and build the trust that drives real progress

Clear answers. Real solutions. Results you can feel. 💪
We take pride in helping our patients understand what’s going on in their body and giving them a plan that actually works. Because when you understand the why, the how becomes a whole lot easier.

Same pain. Different story. Different plan. 💡
Back pain is not one size fits all. Your history, your experiences, and even the movements you avoid all shape how we treat it.
That’s why no two rehab plans look the same at Delta. We meet you where you are and build from there.
💬 What’s one movement you’ve been avoiding because of your back
Let’s talk about it

“You do this every day?”
“Why?”
“Because I love it.” 😅
Said no one ever about shoulder mobility… until it starts working 💪
We know it’s not your favorite, but your shoulders sure think it is

You are not always going to feel like doing the work
But the goal is bigger than the moment 💪
Every rep has a purpose
Every exercise ties back to getting you where you want to be
💬 What is your bigger picture right now

In the Spring of 2016, while the Louisiana Physical Therapy Association was pushing for direct access, is where Delta’s story begins.
Kristen Glascock and Stephen Levins joined many colleagues one early morning at a Baton Rouge clinic for a news broadcast to discuss efforts made to obtain direct access in the state of Louisiana for physical therapist. Little did either of them know that their efforts, combined with those of area physical therapists, legislators, physicians and friends of the physical therapy community would allow for passing of Senate Bill No. 291 which would allow direct access to physical therapists in Louisiana. This would also lead to the partnership responsible for building what Delta has become today.
Delta Physical Therapy first opened it’s doors inside of Geaux Crossfit at their location on American Way in Baton Rouge. The practice quickly grew and soon changed locations in March of 2018 to its first store-front location at 12110 South Harrells Ferry Road.
Kristen and Steve collectively formed Delta with the idea to change the way physical therapy was being delivered in the modern health care system. We felt physical therapy as a whole needed to change and that our patient’s deserved better.
Named for it’s Southern roots, based in the Mississippi Delta region, and the fourth later of the Greek alphabet, Delta which is the symbol for change. We continue to strive to be a positive change in the healthcare systems as well as the lives of our patients and our community.
