Families Helping Families of Greater Baton Rouge (FHFGBR) We provide individualized services, info & support to positively enhance the lives of the disabled.

Families Helping Families of Greater Baton Rouge is a non-profit, family directed resource center for individuals with disabilities and their families. It is a place where families can go that is directed and staffed by parents or family members of children with disabilities or adults with disabilities. It is this common experience that gives Families Helping Families a very unique approach to serving families. Families Helping Families staff can answer questions and provide technical assistance for any disability, any age. FHF of Greater Baton Rouge offers these three benefits:
- Information and Referral
- Education and Training
- Parent to Parent Support

Families Helping Families of Greater Baton Rouge (FHFGBR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in East Baton Rouge parish. We serve the following parishes: East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, West Feliciana, Point Coupee, Iberville and Ascension.

👥 Open to students in 6th–12th grade with special needs

Join us for a beautiful, sensory-friendly evening of faith, fun, and community!

✨ What to expect:

🔎 A large interactive activity

🍕 Dinner provided: pizza and Cane’s chicken

🙏 Adoration time with hands-on prayer opportunities, including:
• Prayer materials and guided prayer activities
• Prayer teams with the sisters
• Opportunity for Confession

🤝 Typical peer helpers will be present to walk alongside and support students

💛 Parents and caregivers are welcome to stay if they would like

🕊️ Evening ends around 7:30 PM

This is a welcoming, supportive environment created especially for individuals with special needs to encounter Christ, build friendships, and grow in faith.
