CVT CVT's vascular surgeons and team of certified specialists treat vein and vascular conditions.

CVT's Vascular Lab is an IAC Accredited Facility in Vascular Testing with continuous accreditation since 1993. CVT has been leading the charge in treatment of vascular and vein disorders since 1957. Our practice includes vein therapy, minimally invasive endovascular procedures, vascular lab testing, and surgeries performed in our state-of-the-art surgical center. We are home to five talented and renowned vascular surgeons and a team of certified specialists. Together, they treat conditions ranging from carotid artery disease to spider veins and are working to improve vascular and vein health in our five clinic locations across south Louisiana.

The aorta, the body's primary artery, consists of three layers. When the innermost layer becomes compromised, it can tear, causing blood to flow between the inner and middle layers, which leads to an aortic dissection. This condition is often triggered by high blood pressure and poses a serious risk, necessitating urgent surgical treatment.

Severe calcification in the femoral artery caused debilitating calf pain for this active patient, making everyday work impossible. Using a minimally invasive intravascular lithotripsy procedure, CVT was able to safely break up the calcium and restore blood flow, helping the patient return to work pain-free.

Vein mapping uses advanced vascular ultrasound to create a detailed image of your blood vessels, including vein size, depth, and blood flow. These images help physicians diagnose vascular conditions and plan procedures like coronary artery bypass surgery by identifying the best veins for rerouting blood flow.

Diabetes and PAD together significantly raise the risk of non-healing wounds and amputation. Reduced circulation limits the body’s ability to repair itself. Early detection helps stop complications before they start.

Our Story

CVT Vein Therapy Center provides services for all your vein problems. With the advent of new, less invasive treatment options, and the demand from patients who want relief for therapeutic or purely cosmetic reasons, venous disease can now be treated more easily and effectively than ever before.

Endovenous radiofrequency ablation, also known as Venefit and endovenous glue treatment, also known as VenaSeal, are used to treat venous insufficiency which can cause leg pain, swelling and varicose veins. These minimally invasive, in-office procedures are covered by most insurances and require little down time. Microphlebectomy, which involves removing the visible varicose veins, can be done in conjunction with Venefit or VenaSeal to offer the best cosmetic results. We also offer sclerotherapy as a treatment option for unsightly spider veins or smaller varicose veins.

Please call our office today to schedule your complimentary consultation to discuss which treatment option best fits your needs. In Baton Rouge call 225-766-0416, or toll free 800-375-0416.
