It's Functional Friday! Today, we are focusing on the activity of grooming. Grooming is more than just looking good. Working on grooming in therapy helps patients feel more confident, stay healthy, and improve self-esteem. In occupational therapy, the therapists empowers their patients to master personal hygiene routines such as teeth brushing, bathing, hair combing/styling, hand hygiene, nail care, putting on make-up, and shaving. Through tailored interventions, adaptive tools, and routines, our occupational therapists help our patients develop these essential activities of daily living to promote dignity and foster independence.

Our comprehensive Day Neuro Program provides patients with intensive physical, occupational, speech therapy, social work services and neuropsychology services as needed. The program includes individual sessions, group sessions, community outings, leisure & education groups. Transportation provided to those who qualify.
