We create an individualized care plan based on your diabetic symptoms, metabolism, and medical history to determine the best treatment plan for you. Bioactive of Baton Rouge is owned and operated by David McCollister and medical professionals, Blasia Rivet, RN, BSN and Kimberly Gatte, MSN, FNP-C.

Blasia was born and raised in Baton Rouge, and graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University School of Nursing in 2004. She worked as a Nurse Manager in pediatric cardiology for 16 years. She founded Decision Critical Concierge Nursing agency in 2014, bringing personalized private duty nursing care to the Baton Rouge community. She is thrilled to be part of bringing yet another revolutionary treatment approach in healthcare to her community!

Kim began her nursing career in 2009, graduating from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge, and received her Master of Science in Nursing in 2021 from Simmons' University in Boston, MA, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Her clinical background includes Home Health, Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine, Quality Assurance, Education, Management, Geriatrics, Infusion and Oncology. Kim has operated the first Bioactive clinic in Rayne, LA since its opening, and is excited to expand to Baton Rouge to bring this incredible treatment plan to the community.
