The Total Woman Boutique, Inc. Boutique specializing in Mastectomy, Plus Size Bras, Girdles, Strapless Bras, Waist Trainers, Wigs, Hats & Accessories, Compression Garments, & much more.

We are a mastectomy shop, specializing in surgical bras, plus size bras, regular bras, wedding/prom garments and girdle fittings. We sell wigs and turbans. We work with a lot of women who are going through cancer treatment and other types of hair loss. We have gifts and jewelry for all occasions. We also do wedding and formal jewelry. The other part of our business is compression garments. We fit patients with garments and provide pumps to control their lymphadema. We hold a cancer support group called Look Good Feel Better. We hold this on the third Monday of every month at our shop. Guess you can say The Total Woman Boutique is a "jack of all trades". Ruth Addison owns The Total Woman Boutique. Sherri Spillman her daughter, who also works there, is part owner and runs the business. Now with the third generation in the business, Amy Pinell. They plan to change as many women’s lives as they can each day. All that can be said is they love what they do. It is a big part of their lives to make someone smile and that is what they do every day. A Personal Service in a Private Atmosphere!!! The Total Woman Boutique is committed to providing compassionate professional customer service and education to women undergoing treatment, someone in need of a wig, and men and women needing compression garments.
We are searching for a billing/insurance/medical office clerk. We need someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. We need a quick thinker who can multi-task, who has a vibrant friendly personality and awesome communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Answer phones and answer any questions potential clients may have and/or set appointments on the calendar for them to come in for a fitting or pickup.

2. Advise and educate patients on what products are available to them through their insurance company and how often they are allowed.

3. Sort through and work incoming faxes.

4. Receive and work through insurance reports using CortexEDI and other insurance web portals.

5. Check patient benefits for product coverage, limitations, and exclusions.

6. Keep up with/update/enroll in all provider contracts with medical insurance companies.

7. Update shop forms when protocol changes.
8. Complete the required documentation with attention to detail.

9. Bill medical transactions to insurance companies using CortexEDI.

10. Generate monthly reports of insurance sales, billed claims, and insurance payments.

11. Keep a record of payment postings and store EOBs in an orderly manner.

12. Work in cooperation with physician offices and insurance companies to prove medical necessity.

13. Ensure that all areas of the business run smoothly and effectively by assisting coworkers with insurance questions.

14. Participate in PR and Marketing strategies to promote and enhance awareness and knowledge within the community, helping the business achieve the goals necessary to build a successful appearance of the business.

15. Participates in education programs to stay current on insurance and accreditation protocol.

16. Demonstrates accuracy in all aspects of our point-of-sale system (QuickBooks experience a plus) including ringing transactions, daily register reconciliation, and minor bookkeeping including posting insurance payments and patient payments to patient accounts.

17. Be proficient in Microsoft Office software (these are commonly used for daily operations).
18. Help with Year-end Inventory
19. Attend Trade shows, Health Fairs, Other promotional functions when necessary
20. Able to perform opening and closing when necessary
21. Available to work every other Saturday.

Qualifications & Skills:
Medical office experience is a plus.

1. Advises and educates patients with current products to fit the needs of the patient.
2. Help patients and survivors overcome the obstacles in appearance caused by treatments or surgery.
3. Offers suggestions of boutique merchandise to complement and enhance products.
4. Completes the required documentation with attention to detail.
5. Works in cooperation with physician offices and insurance companies to assess coverage for products.
6. Ensure that all areas of the business run smoothly and effectively by assisting all those that visit.
7. Participates in PR and Marketing strategies to promote and enhance awareness and knowledge within the community. Helping the business achieve the goals necessary to build a successful appearance of the business.
