Since stepping into the role of CNO in 2019 after serving as OR Director, Kari has played a vital role in strengthening collaboration and driving excellence in patient care. In her new role as CNO/COO, she will continue overseeing clinical responsibilities while expanding her focus to include operational performance, logistics, efficiency and patient throughput.

Paxton is a true example of compassion, kindness and excellence in nursing. Though he often works behind the scenes in the Operating Room, his impact is felt by every patient he cares for.

What makes this recognition even more meaningful is that his nomination came from someone he helped while off the clock. Even outside of work, Paxton showed unwavering dedication, advocacy, and care—proving that the heart of a nurse never takes a day off.
