Greetings,
Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Elissa Boudreaux, a 24 years survivor/overcomer of domestic violence, a 2x Disabled war vet, an advocate and activist of Domestic Violence, Interventionist, Coach and Educator. I have worked in Baton Rouge, Louisiana under the RIH/ DAP Program educating perpetrators under the 19th Judicial Court System for several years.
My expertise came from experience, educating myself and choosing to go back to college at the age of 37 during my last year as a victim of domestic violence; not only completing an Associates of Arts in Business but continuing to obtain a Bachelors of Science in Communication and a Masters Of Science in Psychology with some added bonus hours of Marriage and Family Counseling amongst other knowledgable insights such as events that are specifically geared towrd Domestic violence and other inspirational aspects of my life experiences during my healing process.
I know the challenges that victims face being a 24 years survivor of some of the worst kind of abuse and also because I've worked with victims, it drained me because I knew their pain so I became more inquisitive on the changing the mindsets and thought process of the perpetrators wanting to know their pain, helping them to regain their foot back into society, learn who they are and use strategies to deflect issues that lead to domestic violence allowing the perpetrator to make changes necessary to be rehabilitated even if we cant save them all we can save one at a time.
We at Lotus Worldwide understand that people are dying at record numbers due to domestic violence, lack anger management, alcohol and drug abuse.
During this pandemic we have recorded high volume of calls and domestic violence incidents and fatalities. We have tools to intervene, change the narrative and renew mindsets therefore help bridge the gap of habitual offenders to become rehabilated productive citizens.
Therefore, it is the mission of Lotus Worldwide Consulting, LLC to provide comprehensive abuse consultation and curriculum that will be a gateway that operates throughout the world on educating, advocating, sharing resources that benefit our clients. Using a Curriculum Based Program we offer an 8 week basic course and 26/ 52 week intervention program that will educate, give you clear and concise understanding, learn how to understand your issues, and work through them.
Both Courses are Curriculum Based with exercises to challenge the student. The Curriculum includes Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavior Techniques. It also provides group rules, progress notes, personal recovery exercises and homework assignments.
