Introducing King Grant McCurdy. Grant is a devoted husband to his wife, Heather, and a proud father to their daughter, Kayley. He is a United States Marine Corps veteran, he served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and is a Gold Star sibling who continues to honor a legacy of service and sacrifice. An LSU alumnus with an MBA and PMP certification, Grant is a Project Controls Director leading billion-dollar capital programs, including Louisiana’s largest infrastructure project, the Calcasieu River Bridge in Lake Charles. He also serves as President of the Louisiana Photographic Society and Co-Chairman of Honor Flight Louisiana.

Introducing Queen Emily Delgado. Emily is married to past king, John Delgado. Emily is a kindergarten assistant and the fifth-grade volleyball coach at St. Jude the Apostle School. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially her step-daughter, Lucy Delgado. Additionally, Emily's hobbies include traveling and painting.

Introducing debutante Mary Beth. She is a senior. Mary Beth excels in school as a member of National Honors Society and BETA club, and she maintains a high grade point average. She also enjoys playing soccer and staying involved in extracurricular activities at school. Mary Beth plans to study kinesiology, and pursue a career in physical therapy.

Krewe Mystique is the oldest parading krewe in Baton Rouge and we are celebrating our 50th anniversary.
