Our Story

Speech-Language Pathologist/Reading Specialist

Rachel V. Guidry obtained a Master's Degree from Louisiana State University in 2001. She completed her clinical fellowship year at the New Orleans Speech & Hearing Center. After returning to Baton Rouge, she worked in the private practice setting and traveled to various schools, day cares and Head Start Centers in the area. Rachel served an international school from 2008 to 2016, learning how speech, language and reading interventions affect foreign language learners.

Currently, Rachel is the sole proprietor of a private practice, providing on-site services in private school and childcare settings. She evaluates and treats students with communication disorders of all grades, preschool through high school. Additionally Rachel educates parents and teachers on various speech-language disorders and how to help their children or students succeed. Recently she began offering her services to children outside of the Baton Rouge area using teleconferencing technology.
