Procedures We Offer: SGAP & IGAP Flap Breast Reconstruction

Not everyone is a candidate for abdominal-based reconstruction . That’s where GAP flap procedures come in. These advanced techniques use skin and fat from the upper or lower buttocks (while sparing the muscle!) to rebuild the breast after mastectomy.

💗 Types of GAP Flaps:
• SGAP Flap: Tissue from the upper buttocks with a scar hidden near the hip line.
• IGAP Flap: Tissue from the lower buttocks, placed discreetly in the crease.
