ReCenter Real Answers: How long is recovery after flap surgery?

Our patients typically spend 2–3 nights in the hospital after surgery. From there, we encourage early movement : walking, getting around, and gradually resuming light activity. Most patients are back to their normal routines within 1–3 weeks, though strenuous exercise should still be limited during the healing process.
