Elder Outreach Dietary Managers had the privilege of attending the national AHF Conference in New Orleans this year. It was an exciting opportunity to meet other leaders from across the country, gain fresh ideas, and bring home new inspiration to enhance dining experiences in our communities.

Kudos to the Elder Outreach and Encore Clinical Teams for introducing an innovative twist to our training process. We’re constantly seeking fresh ways to elevate our team’s learning experience, and our latest adventure - a creative Escape Room challenge - does just that.

Employees worked together to crack clever puzzles against the clock, turning training into an engaging and collaborative experience. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, and we’re grateful for our team’s enthusiasm and teamwork. We can’t wait to see the wonderful impact this new approach brings! When Pelican Pointe says they’re bringing the beach vibes, they mean business! From sandy shores and sunny smiles to delicious shrimp and Gulf crabs—both live and boiled—they went all out to create a seaside celebration for residents and team members. What an unforgettable experience in Dallas! Our Elder Outreach Life Enrichment Directors attended their first NAAP Conference last month, and we’re still buzzing with excitement. From the high-energy speakers to the incredible variety of topics, every moment inspired us to dream bigger for our communities.

We left feeling motivated, empowered, and ready to elevate our activity programming-because we know that activities aren’t just about filling time, but about building meaningful, purposeful connections with our residents and each other. So grateful for this opportunity, the knowledge gained, and the new friends made.
