Most people think yoga is a modern, feminine practice — but for thousands of years, yoga was actually practiced primarily by men: warriors, wrestlers, monks, and bodybuilders.

Yoga was created to build strength, discipline, focus, and resilience.

The earliest yoga texts were written by men.

The Bhagavad Gita is literally a yoga lesson on a battlefield.

Indian wrestlers used yoga poses for power training. Krishnamacharya taught young boys and athletes.

So if any guy ever thinks yoga isn’t ‘for him,’ he doesn’t know the history.

Yoga was one of the original training systems for warriors.
