Happy Thanksgiving 🍁 to all families we have served throughout the years and families that we may not have served during your time of loss. This year, 2020, has taken it’s toll on us all. Especially, losing loved ones to Covid-19. But, God still sits on the throne and for that we should all be thankful. This is my family’s third year without the matriarch of our family, my mother Barbara L. Rose not being physically present during this holiday season. Despite her physical absence she is forever in my heart and on my mind. I am thankful that God allowed my mother to be ever present in my life for 46 years! Yes, thankful is what I am! We must also remember to care for our family members that are still here,(Daddy we love you), for us to hold tight and love on! I invite everyone to share a photo or holiday memory of your loved one!

Memory: 2015 at the home of my fiancé at the time now wife, Eboni-Johnson Rose. It was her family and my family combined. My mother and father were in rare form with the jokes and entertaining everyone. It was a glorious day of enjoying family!

The death of a loved one is a very difficult time and currently even more difficult with the COVID-19. It has been a challenge planning and conducting funerals as of late. There has been an executive order put in place by Governor John Bel Edwards which place restrictions on gatherings and businesses. These measures have been put in place to limit and/or prevent the spread of COVID-19. It is imperative that we follow this order. I am committed to continuing to provide funeral services with dignity and honor to bereaved families. Louisiana Law Enforcement Statement on COVID-19 Emergency Proclamation Restrictions

March 17, 2020

Louisiana State Law (RS 29:724) gives the Governor authority to set restrictions on gatherings and businesses in the interest of public safety and to prevent spread of COVID-19. These proclamations and declarations have the power of law.

As such, local, parish, and state law enforcement agencies as well as other state authorities including ATC and the State Fire Marshal, will be acting to enforce these rules set by the Governor.

Violations of gathering capacity and business hour restrictions may result in revocation of licenses and/or citations for violating the executive order under La. R.S. 29:724(E), Disturbing the Peace, or other appropriate violations of law.
