The Allegan County Veteran Stand Down will be on Thursday, October 23rd, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church. This is a free veteran resource fair with breakfast, lunch, military surplus and support services. Veterans should bring a DD-214, VA I.D or Military I.D.

Coping with PTSD is hard; it can be even harder to explain PTSD to kids. VA wants to help by holding a Veteran Family Fun Day, an event to help Veterans diagnosed with PTSD talk about what they are experiencing.
