We had a great time at our Annual Back to School Carnival with the community last week! Everyone enjoyed all the games, face painting by Naomi Corrie, and entertainment by K'Z the Clown. Residents enjoyed helping with the games and watching the community kids win school supplies while munching on funnel cakes, corn dogs and goody prizes. A big thank you to all those who attended and helped make this event successful!

The staff and residents of Willow Dale Wellness Village would like to humbly and graciously thank the Hummelgard family for their kindness and generosity for the wonderful gift that was given to us! The Hummelgard family donated a new gas grill, propane tank, grill cover, and grilling utensils as a token of their appreciation for the care provided to their parents, Orville and Pauline, while they resided at Willow Dale. It was truly our honor and privilege to have had the Hummelgards a part of the Willow Dale family! Thank you again Duane, Lois, Jim, and Rose Mary for the wonderful gift!

We had a great time on Wednesday during our Community Lunch & Learn with Gentiva Hospice & SHIP! We discussed the benefits of Hospice & benefits of Medicare/Medicare Advantage plans affiliated with Horn Memorial, along with other topics that came up. We appreciate the time everyone took to answer our questions & the community joining us! If you missed our event and want to learn more, give us a call!

Willow Dale residents enjoyed watching Elvis impersonator, Sandy Wulf, and rocking and rolling with her! Some residents even got in full character, dressing for the 50's show! Following the show, everyone enjoyed root beer floats and ice cream sundaes.
