Practitioners use their hands to deliver energy to participants, which has been reported to calm participants and allow them to feel more relaxed than when doing other meditation practices. Veterans who are interested in experiencing this are invited to the 1st floor of Building 7 on Tuesday and Thursday.

Today kicks off Mental Health Awareness Month, and the theme for this year is "See the Person, Support the Journey," and one of the best ways for many Veterans to start their journey is to realize they are not alone.
Make the Connection has worked with Veterans from every era, branch, and background to create videos of Veterans sharing how they addressed their mental health challenges.
Veterans can learn about others facing hardships, experiencing symptoms, going through treatments, and working on recovery at https://www.maketheconnection.net/mental-health-month/
