Battle Creek area caregivers, get the support you need this winter! CareWell Services is hosting Powerful Tools for Caregivers, a six-week workshop series that shows caregivers how they can take better care of themselves while still caring for a loved one.

The series will take place on Wednesdays from 10:00 am - 11:30 am from February 11 to March 18. The class will meet at the Kool Family Community Center.

Are you currently caring for a spouse?

If so, our Caring For A Spouse support Group through our online caregiving portal is for you! Every Wednesday for four weeks, you’ll meet virtually with the same group of caregivers who truly understand what it’s like to care for a spouse.

Guided by a facilitator, you’ll have the chance to share your story, exchange tips, talk through challenges, and even find moments of laughter and relief together.

This support group starts January 7 and runs through January 28, 2026 from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm EST

Hastings area seniors, do you need a little push to exercise? Do you prefer to attend a structured weekly class with other seniors to get you up and moving? Then MoveWell is just right for you.

MoveWell is a comprehensive exercise class with a focus on range of motion, flexibility, meditation-inspired cooldown, and fun.

Our next session begins January 7 and runs until February 25 from 3:00 pm- 4:00 pm at the Barry County Commission on Aging in Hastings.

What is WERQ? WERQouts are designed for everybody. Our WERQ instructor Colleen has crafted a heart-pumping playlist featuring fun modern music. WERQouts are designed with repetitive athletic moves and fresh dance steps.
