The Forks Senior Center provides a gathering place for active seniors over 60 to maintain and improve their physical, mental, and social well-being. Activities offered by Forks include a wide selection geared towards promoting healthy lifestyles.

Join us this week to get in touch with your creative side on Thursday at 3 pm with Coloring and Conversation.

Membership to the Forks Senior Center is open to adults over 60 years of age in the greater Albion area, Homer, Springport, Marshall, and surrounding townships. Residents of neighboring counties are invited to join to Forks Senior Center, located in the eastern region of Calhoun County.

Below are just a few of our many membership benefits:
-Unlimited use of the Fitness Center during convenient hours
-Daily exercise classes taught by trained fitness instructors
-Men and Women’s Ping Pong Teams

Caregivers, don't miss out on the Virtual Support Groups from The Area Agencies on Aging around Michigan!

The next virtual support group will be for General Caregivers on Wednesday, August 6 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

These groups are informal and provide dialogue along with peer support. Participants will be able to reflect and connect with others in a similar situation.

Tomorrow is the last day to register for Diabetes Personal Action Toward Health (D-PATH) This six-week long series is evidence-based and award-winning providing skills to take care of yourself or someone you love with diabetes.

During the series you will learn how to:

-Develop a healthy diet plan

-Manage your symptoms

-Set goals and problem solve

-Talk with your family and friends about your disease

The D-PATH program begins on July 30 and runs until September 3, Wednesdays from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm at the Kool Family Community Center (200 W. Michigan Ave. on the second floor)
