As an independent diagnostic testing facility CVUS is dedicated to improving access to high quality diagnostic cardiovascular ultrasounds throughout Michigan. We use our unique position to offer significant savings to patients and payors.
1. Instead of being based on the hospital outpatient prospective payment system (HOPPS), Reimbursements to CVUS are based off of the much lower non-facility physician fee schedule.
2. We offer an additional “same day-pay” discount to all patients, thus those with high deductible plans or self-pay patients can afford this important diagnostic testing.
