I’m thrilled to introduce Elizabeth Rudolph, a valued member of the Summit Pointe Board of Directors since 2024. Elizabeth brings decades of experience in mental health, shaped by both her professional work as a psychologist and personal experiences that fuel her passion for supporting individuals and families. Her insights are especially meaningful in guiding our board on ways to support both the community we serve and the incredible team of employees who make it possible.
In our latest Summit Pointe Podcast episode, Elizabeth shares her journey into mental health, what drew her to our organization, and the powerful impact of accessible, compassionate care. I invite you to listen to the full conversation and hear directly from Elizabeth about the work we’re proud to do every day.

This program represents an incredible partnership between Summit Pointe and local public safety professionals—working together to strengthen how our community responds to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.

Thank you to everyone who participated for your openness, compassion, and commitment to learning. The work you do makes a real difference, and it’s inspiring to see your dedication to both safety and care.

I’m so proud to have Summit Pointe featured in Common Ground for our work integrating behavioral health, primary care, and pharmacy services—all under one roof.

At Summit Pointe, we know that whole-person care starts with connection and accessibility. By bringing these services together, our team is helping people get the right care, at the right time, in the right place.

Behind every great program is a team who makes it happen — and for our Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training, we couldn’t do it without a team effort!

Aaron is instrumental in organizing many details and making sure officers across Calhoun County get the tools they need to respond to mental health crises with empathy and skill.

Kailey is critical in providing our 40 hours of training and assisting us during the week with the information specific to Calhoun County, but also her expansive knowledge as a clinician who does this work in her home county. We are truly grateful that she attends and is so willing to share her real life knowledge with us!!

This work helps ensure that each training makes a lasting impact — leading to safer outcomes for both officers and community members alike.

I am so grateful for everything they do to make Calhoun County’s CIT program a success.

Softball, kickball, and lots of team spirit! ⚾⚽

This month our Summit Pointe staff took part in the Detective Lavern Brann Memorial Softball Tournament and the CIR Kickball Tournament.

I’m so proud of the way our staff bring their teamwork and community spirit wherever they go. 💙

I’m honored to introduce you to Bryan Smith, a returning member of Summit Pointe’s Board of Directors. Bryan first joined the Board in 2016, and we’re grateful to welcome him back as he continues his commitment to strengthening mental health in our community.

As the Owner and President of United States Lumber Company in Battle Creek, Bryan understands what it takes to build strong, lasting foundations—not only in business, but in people and community as well.

His perspective is also deeply shaped by service. As a veteran and former defense contractor, Bryan brings lived experience, resilience, and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by those who serve. That insight is invaluable as Summit Pointe continues to ensure that every person in Calhoun County has access to compassionate and effective care.

We’re thankful for Bryan’s leadership, his service to our country, and his dedication to making Calhoun County a healthier, more connected place for all.

When someone is worried about their next meal, it’s nearly impossible to focus on healing, growth, or mental well-being.

That’s why I’m so grateful for our partnership with South Michigan Food Bank this summer. Their Mobile Markets come directly to Summit Pointe, bringing fresh food and meal kits to our customers and neighbors.

When people have access to food, they have the stability to focus on what’s next: their health, their goals, and their future. That’s at the heart of Summit Pointe’s mission — helping people maximize their potential.

Honored to join our community at the Step Out of the Darkness event alongside Scott, our incredible Su***de Prevention Facilitator who makes this gathering possible each year. 💙💜

From the powerful panel discussions to the walk and the luminaries, it was a meaningful reminder of the importance of hope, connection, and remembering those we’ve lost.

Grateful to be part of such an inspiring evening. ✨
