Dr. Sichula began with us as a resident through Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center’s Internal Medicine program and chose to continue volunteering after completing his residency. We are so thankful for his dedication, compassionate care, and the positive impact he makes on every patient he sees.

Last week at Battle Ground HealthCare, we hosted a one-hour oral hygiene class where patients learned the importance of a good oral care routine 🦷

We discussed diseases linked to poor oral hygiene and demonstrated proper brushing and flossing techniques 🪥

Patients also had the opportunity to practice their new skills using electric toothbrushes 😁

We get this message a lot: ‘I want to help, but I can’t volunteer or make a big donation — is there anything else I can do?’ The answer is YES! And we are so grateful for all of the generous ways that you support our clinic.

Our latest opportunity to help: an Amazon wish list of everyday supplies our clinic actually uses — things like bandages, batteries, and blood pressure cuffs. Even one item makes a real difference for our patients. ♥️🏥

We could use some help in the following areas:
🛠️ Clinic repairs and maintenance
🏥 We’re launching a new Clinic Assistant role! Volunteers
will be trained during their shifts to help with rooming,
intake questions, shadowing providers, and cleaning
between patients. This opportunity is ideal for pre-
med students, high school students interested in
healthcare, or anyone seeking hands-on clinical
experience.
