I’ve been working on the Rogersville clinic this afternoon and I am so excited to share this space with Greenbox Photography at 106 W. Clinton!

WE HAVE INTERNET!!!
Honestly that was the biggest thing to get this clinic open and I am confident that we will be up and running Wednesday April 15!!

While I am not seeing animal clients at this stage in my career, I continue to maintain my animal chiropractic license and skills. For the first time in 14 years, I’m able to do my CEU hours close to home!!!

Laser therapy helps speed the healing process after an injury! For my son we are trying to laser his break twice a week until pain is improved and gets some primary healing! Active Life has a Lightforce laser which IMO is one of the best!

I'm 5 weeks into my Psychology of Sport Class and every time I work on my homework or study, I have a study buddy!! She's a pretty cool cat and glad to be doing this program with her but she does make it go a wee bit slower than it would have to if she could just scoot over!!!

Okay so I’ve complained about bleachers before and how bad they are for the back but who all has been to a tennis match?!?!? 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️

I have sat on the grass propped up against a pole, concrete, sun, shade… AND I’m going to football right after this to sit on those awesome bleachers for a couple more hours!!! 🤦‍♀️

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Mine was busy!! Went to the KU/Mizzou game Saturday. Got to catch up with one of my cousins and the football game was awesome. (I have no beef in this border war so it was a fun game all around)
Then we went to the Japanese Fall Festival Sunday afternoon. Ive been attending this festival all but 1 year (when I had to take one of my boards for chiropractic school) since it started. I took Japanese in high school and college so have always loved supporting this!

For most of the area it is the last week before school starts. My family (myself included) are not ready for summer break to be over. It flew by in the blink of an eye sadly.

With the start of school, we have schedule changes at the office too. Meetings are shuffled, patient hours adjust a little, and lunch breaks adjusted to our college student staff’s class schedule. Truth is, since my kids are teens now but not driving, my husband and I balance the parent Uber duties between us which is why one day I may start at 730am and another it’s almost 9! Generally we see patients Monday through Friday, with Wednesday & Fridays closing the office early still!

While I’ve never been able to promise you 10 hour days for appointment times, I do try my best to offer a variety of times throughout the week to accommodate as many of your schedules as I can while still being a present parent for my family!

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone back in the office (because lots of people take off self care during the summer months for the same reasons I do… summer fun and family time). Today is a great day to plan out your path to living YOUR active life, and we are here to help you achieve that goal!

It's back to school time and this is the time every year I reflect on what the next year of business will focus on. This year I want to ask you all what you want! We are ready to welcome new patients in the office and need to focus some on growth this season. I feel like the people who utilize our services already are the best to ask to help us!

Are there techniques, experiences, education, therapies, services, classes, etc. that you are looking for in our office?
Is there a certain focus on what our social media accounts post?
Are there promotions that you would like to see more of?

The truth is, I am able to do a lot of things that we don't do a lot of in the office (examples, cupping, RockTape, retail sales, giveaways, etc) and I want to focus our energy on what our patients want to see as we are able.

You can post here, send us a DM, email, or even tell us when you are in the office next because we are going to prioritize those things as we make our upcoming plans!

I’ve been slacking on my page a bit for regular postings and I’m realizing I’m only posting when I’m out. 🤦‍♀️ I do want everyone to have notice when I’ll be gone though so you can plan too!

I’m leaving Tuesday for vacation, will be back Wednesday evening the 25th and will be in the office on the 26-27 like normal!
We have a handful of appointments left tomorrow (Monday) before I leave and phones WILL be answered while I’m out of the office but no appointments will be available until I return.

Have a great week and can’t wait to see you all when I return!

The Rogersville community lost two incredible teens to a motor vehicle accident last week. The driver was the sister to one of them and has a long road of recovery ahead. My daughter was friends with one that passed and I need to leave the office early to take her to the funeral Friday.

I’m sorry for the late notice on leaving early but we do still have appointments left this afternoon (Thursday) and just a couple tomorrow morning still.
