Artists across Minnesota are invited to help bring mental health awareness to one of the state’s most beloved traditions. NAMI Minnesota is seeking an original design to be featured on the 2026 Mental Health Awareness at the Minnesota State Fair t-shirt.

This is an opportunity to share a creative vision that celebrates hope, resilience, and community. Designs should reflect themes of mental health, be uplifting in spirit, and highlight the culture, heritage, and diversity that make Minnesota unique. The selected artist will receive a $1,000 stipend and have their artwork showcased during the State Fair.

Artwork submissions are due by March 31, 2026. To learn more and submit your design, visit mentalhealthatthefair.org.

Great event for both communities!

It's that time of year again! Stick it to Stigma is back!💚🏒

This will be the 4th annual Stick it to Stigma and will be hosted in Baudette this year on Thursday February 12th. Mark your calendars and help us spread the word!

And just like last year, we will be honoring another winner for the Mental Health Impact Award for the school that shows the most mental health spirit. Decorate, special projects, music, whatever you can do to help us end the stigma! The trophy is currently cozy and warm at Lake of the Woods School as they edged International Falls last year. Will it be back to back champs for the Bears or will the Broncos even the score?

And teachers, we also have you covered this year with another chance to win the Stanley Cup! Just like last year, two teachers from International Falls and two teachers from Lake of the Woods will hoist their very own, custom Stick it to Stigma Stanley Cup!

Looking forward to another fantastic Stick it to Stigma💚
