💚 As we round out May, we wanted to take a moment to remind everyone that May is Mental Health Awareness Month.

Mental health matters every single day — for our youth, our families, and our communities. At Gents & Glam, we believe in creating safe spaces where young people feel seen, heard, supported, and empowered to grow.

Let’s continue breaking the stigma, checking on one another, and reminding our youth that it’s okay to ask for help. A little kindness, understanding, and support can truly change a life. 🧠✨

A lot of families think calling hospice means you’ve already made some huge decision.
Truth is… sometimes the first call is just a conversation. 🤍

You do not have to wait until the last days.
You do not need a doctor sitting beside you to ask questions.
And you do not have to commit to anything just to learn more.

At Comfort Care Hospice , we’ll simply sit down with you, listen, and explain what hospice really is.
No pressure.
No obligation.
Just honest answers and support.

A lot of people don’t realize hospice can help with:

• Managing pain and symptoms at home
• Nurse visits and CNA support
• Medical equipment and supplies
• Emotional and spiritual support
• Helping overwhelmed caregivers breathe a little easier
• Keeping patients more comfortable and out of the hospital when possible

And yes — anyone can call us.

Family members, friends, facilities, caregivers, churches, or providers. Sometimes people just need guidance on what options are available.

If your loved one has been in and out of the hospital, getting weaker, sleeping more, falling more often, struggling with chronic illness, or if caregiving is becoming overwhelming… it may simply be time to ask questions.

Today, Comfort Care Hospice had the honor of serving alongside Friendship Church - Baxley at the Appling Hope Center . 🤍

There’s something special about people coming together to simply love on their community. A warm meal, fellowship, prayer, laughter, and reminding people they are not forgotten.

We heard a beautiful devotion and message from Miss Angela and Dedra, and it was such a blessing to spend time with these amazing ladies and volunteers who pour so much into others. Thank you for all that you do!

At Comfort Care Hospice, community means everything to us. Serving others doesn’t always happen inside four walls — sometimes it looks like showing up with open hands and open hearts.

Please keep the Appling Hope Center in mind if you, your group, or your church group are looking for a place to give back. Miss Dedra Hewett is doing an incredible job loving and helping so many people in our community. ❤️
