Marilyn "Shorty" Lea Hill, aged 84, of McCallsburg, Iowa, peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at her beloved farm, surrounded by her adoring family. A visitation in her honor will take place on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Bethany Lutheran Church in McCallsburg from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Her funeral service will be on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Bethany Lutheran Church at 1:00 p.m., led by Pastor Staci Winborn. She will be laid to rest at Warren Township Cemetery in McCallsburg following her funeral service.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church in McCallsburg. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church with Pastor Staci Winborn officiating. Burial will follow at the Story Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Ames.
