April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), and Sexual Assault Services has a full month of events and opportunities to get involved! 💙

Throughout April, we’ll be working to raise awareness, support survivors, and engage our community through education, art, wellness events, and fundraisers. There are many ways to show your support and help spread the message.

Here’s what’s coming up:

🔹 April 1 – SAAM Kickoff + Teal Takeover Day & Pints for Purpose at Jack Pine Brewery (4:30–7:30 PM)
🔹 April 6 – SAS on air with Community Focus at 10 AM on 106.7 WJJY
🔹 April 15 – We Are CLC Health Fair (11 AM–1 PM) + Threads of Strength — come decorate jean pockets with us!
🔹 April 16 – Dine to Donate at Applebee’s in Baxter (15% of sales support SAS!) Must show the SAS flyer for your purchase to count toward the fundraiser.
🔹 April 20 – Pizza Ranch Fundraiser in Baxter (4–8 PM)
🔹 April 23 – “What Respect Means” Youth Art Night with Crossing Arts Alliance (3:30–5:30 PM)
🔹 April 24–25 – Hallett Wellness Event
🔹 April 25 – 5th Annual 5K for Mental Health Vendor Fair at CLC (7:45–10:30 AM)
🔹 April 29 – Denim Day Display in Downtown Brainerd
