This is what spinal stenosis looks like.
What you’re seeing is a narrowing of the spinal canal, the space where the nerves travel.
Normally, this canal has enough room for nerves to pass through freely. But over time—
That space begins to shrink.
That’s where this begins.
Spinal stenosis is usually caused by age-related changes in the spine. As the surrounding structures change:
• Discs can bulge
• Ligaments can thicken
• Bone can overgrow
And everything pushes inward.
From this view, you can clearly see:
• The narrowed canal
• Reduced space around the nerves
• Compression within a tight space
This isn’t just back pain.
It’s crowding of nerves inside the spine.
As it progresses:
• Pain can travel into the legs
• Numbness or tingling develops
• Walking becomes more difficult
And a key feature:
Symptoms often improve when leaning forward.
Because that slightly opens the space.
This is spinal stenosis—caused by narrowing of the spinal canal—and it leads to nerve compression that can affect mobility and quality of life.
