Proud Pool School moment 🥹💙

Sunday was Delta College swim day and I saw so many Pool School faces! It was a little hectic, but so much fun and I couldn’t be more proud of these kids.

Every single one passed the swim test: swimming 25 yards freestyle then jumping off the diving board without a life jacket. The youngest swimmer? Just 5 years old. 💙💙💦

This is why we do what we do.

We will have another Delta day in February!

Thank you so much to all of our Pool School families for your patience during our first week of lessons. The first week always comes with a little adjustment as we get everyone settled and into a rhythm, and I truly appreciate your understanding when I’m running a few minutes behind.

I also have to say how absolutely amazed I am at all of our swimmers…(hopefully, you are as well) especially our four-year-olds. I honestly forget how young they are because they are swimming independently and safely like pros.

Looking forward to the next four weeks together and hope to see some of you and your families out at Delta on Sunday as well! 💦💙

📣 Attention Pool School Parents & Grandparents!

I will be at Delta College on Sunday around 2:00 PM for an informal swim opportunity for our more experienced swimmers who need time to practice longer distances and stroke development.

➡️ This is not a learn-to-swim session
➡️ I will not be getting in the water
➡️ Focus will be on endurance and stroke work

That said, I’d still love to see everyone there if it fits your schedule 💙

💲 Cost: $7 to get in
⏰ Time: Around 2:00 PM
📍 Location: Delta College Pool

Emails for the January session have gone out. Please let me know if you did not receive one.

Looking ahead to February lessons:
• 🗓 Registration opens: January 18
• 🏊 Lessons begin: February 9
• 📅 Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
• ⏱ Session length: 5 weeks
• 🌦 A few open weeks are built in to allow for weather cancellations

✨ I am hopeful to also be offering an East Side location for February lessons! 😊

For all you good planners:
• 📆 April session begins: Week of April 13
• 📝 April registration opens: March 15

• Offered Wednesday & Thursday evenings
• NEW: A very limited number of Monday evening spots
• Once per week for 5 weeks
• 2:1 swimmer-to-instructor ratio
• 20-minute focused lessons

💳 Payment is due today (December 14th) for all families to secure your swimmer’s spot.
