Happy new year all! Me and my new amazing coworker Kim Scheffler Langley have been hard at work redoing our group room. This is a space I use to work with my court kids and soon we will be offering family classes. We wanted this space to have a warm inviting vibe so we went to goodwill and salvation army and scored some awesome stuff but we could use a few more donated items. Signs with positive and inspirational messaging, a few mirrors, a good size wood plant stand for between the 2 windows and a few rugs please let me know and I can pick them up or you can drop off to our office. Most important though we need plants lots of plants!! If you have ever been to my house you know my love for plants and I would love to fill this room with tons of vine plants to cover the ceiling and would also love a huge one that sits on the floor maybe even a small tree. We are also looking for any planters that have faces to add some character.
Thanks in advance to anyone who helps us make this an amazing space for our students
Special thanks to Tammy Cobley Gardner and Thomas Gardner for helping us get the free couch to the office today ❤️🥰

Bay City Academy and John Glenn High School Teens Advocating Prevention partnered with McLaren Bay Region, Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center and the Bay City Department of Public Safety for DEA Drug Take Back Day. The teens brought awareness and encouraged the public to turn in unneeded, unused, or expired medication.

Many teens wore zombie makeup and the theme was, "Zombies are scary but your medicine cabinet is scarier."

"Unneeded, unused, or expired medication, turn your drugs in at the local police station."
