mpleted several years of general and plastic surgery training, starting with a five-year general surgery residency in the Department of Surgery at the renowned New York University (NYU) Medical Center, where he was a Vascular Surgery Research Fellow and Chief Resident in General Surgery. Dr. Gibstein continued his clinical education with a plastic surgery residency at Harvard, Brigham and Children’s Hospital in Boston, during which time he also completed a fellowship in craniofacial surgery.
