Heartwarming reunion

Dr. D’Agate had a patient visit him in Smithtown to thank him for saving her life in 2007 when she experienced a cardiac arrest. She recently moved back here in Long Island from New Jersey and is excited to reconnect with the Suffolk Heart Group.

In Honor of Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness Month, Suffolk Heart Group Bayshore office celebrates the life of Mark M, who passed away from Pulmonary Hypertension in 2011, son of our HR representative. “Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear. If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today.”

Pulmonary Hypertension is a chronic condition that occurs when blood pressure in the lungs is higher than normal which can cause the heart to work harder to pump blood into the lungs, which can damage the heart over time. In honor of Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness month, Suffolk Heart Group Smithtown office celebrates the life and memory of Mark M, who passed away in 2011, son of our HR representative.
