October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

North Carolina’s Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program (NC BCCCP) provides free or low-cost breast and cervical cancer screenings and follow-up to eligible women in North Carolina. Each year, NC BCCCP strives to provide services to over 12,000 women.

Pamlico County Health Department and Pamlico County Animal Services had a busy day participating in the annual PrimeTime Health and Safety Expo held at the Oriental Methodist Church Annex. Various community partners came together to offer seminars, provide health screenings, and share resources with residents of Pamlico County.
