The Duke Global Health Research Students for 2026 are here in Pamlico for the summer! Yesterday Nick (who is also a CNA) trained in clinic with our volunteer Nancy then assisted with patients triage in the evening clinic and Monica helped with checking in patients for the evening clinic. Keep an eye out for them in the county as well as Ella & Skyler who are all helping Hope Clinic, Pamlico County Health Department, Heartworks, and Pamlico County Disaster Recovery Coalition with projects!

We are incredibly grateful to the Helmut and Carmen Weisser Foundation for their generous support of Hope Clinic through this year’s Lucky 7th Grant Awards celebration!

Hope Clinic Board Chair, Becky Whittemore, was honored to attend the celebration last week on behalf of our organization and celebrate alongside so many incredible nonprofits serving Eastern North Carolina.

This support helps us continue providing whole-person healthcare to uninsured and underinsured adults in our communities through medical care, behavioral health support, recovery services, case management, and outreach programs that meet people where they are.

We are thankful for community partners like the Weisser Foundation who believe in investing in healthier futures for Eastern NC. 💙

Please join us in supporting and congratulating our coworker (peer support specialist of Hope Clinic ), friend, and community advocate Jon Amundson in his most recent educational milestone and achievement today at the Carteret Community College.

Jon is actively working towards his associates degree, with emphasis in human services and substance use education and plans to pursue becoming a certified alcohol and drug counselor in the future ❤️ Please show him some love and pride for his growth and achievements on this post today!

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, our staff and volunteers proudly wore t-shirts provided by One Community NC
today to help raise awareness and show support for mental health in our communities.

At Hope Clinic, we know that mental health is just as important as physical health. Caring for the whole person means recognizing the connection between emotional well-being, physical health, recovery, and everyday life challenges. We are grateful for community partners like One Community who help keep these conversations visible and meaningful. 💚

The Hope Regala last Saturday evening was a resounding success. 🙌🏼 Lindsey & Jon's heartfelt words, The Flame's exquisite cuisine, and Fox with BTA's lively music all combined to create an unforgettable experience, set against the breathtaking sunset over River Dunes. We extend our gratitude to all who helped organize and attend this special event, supporting Hope Clinic patients. 🥰
