Whew… anyone else feeling that Leo New Moon whiplash?
Yesterday (July 24th) hit me hard. Not because anything catastrophic happened, but because the emotional intensity was real. I'm wondering if anyone else felt it too. If so, I want you to know… you're not alone.
Let’s talk astrology for a second:
🌞 The Sun entered Leo, and the Moon was in Leo as well, amplifying fire, identity, expression, and visibility.
🌀 Mercury is retrograde, and so are Saturn, Neptune, Pluto, and Uranus.
🔥 Instead of the calm reset we often expect with a New Moon, this one stirred the pot. In Leo, it feels like a Full Moon...fiery, confronting, and deeply personal.
Yesterday brought up old wounds I thought I'd long since processed:
~ Rejection
~ Betrayal
~ Being taken advantage of for my kindness
~ Feeling unseen, unheard, or unappreciated
I had to retreat. I cried more than once.
Not because I was falling apart, but because I was feeling everything. And that’s what healing sometimes looks like.
I started questioning myself…
Am I doing enough?
Is any of this landing?
Am I shouting into a void?
Will I ever be truly seen...not just for what I do, but for who I am?
I had to talk myself through it.
Because the truth is: I’ve been showing up for 13+ years. Quietly, consistently.
Paying it forward. Holding space. Planting seeds. Uplifting others.
And I will continue to show up. Not for applause. Not for validation.
But because this is my mission. My dharma. My truth.
Still… yesterday reminded me that even the most purpose-driven hearts need rest. And reflection. And reassurance.
Astrologically, this New Moon was a call to self-love.
Saturn retrograde is helping us emotionally mature.
Neptune retrograde increases sensitivity.
Pluto retrograde? Power struggles, shadow work.
Uranus in Gemini? Big awakenings...especially around love and communication.
There’s a push and pull energy right now. Between heart and mind.
Between what we want and what we know we need.
Let this be your reminder:
You are not behind.
You are not failing.
You are not alone.
Your efforts matter... even when they’re unseen.
