YES, we are looking to find another physical therapist to join our already ridiculously awesome and ridiculously good looking team. If you or someone you know is looking for a change in their current job, or is right out of school (or about to be out) and looking for work, TPPT is an amazing opportunity. We are specifically looking for a DPT. We prefer a full-time hire, but will consider a part-time position as well. For those of you who know us, our office is a fun, friendly, and enjoyable place to not only work, but as a patient too! With all that said, we make every patient feel at home by welcoming them in to make them part of our family here at TPPT. At True Potential PT we are able to offer TRIGGER POINT INJECTIONS here in our office in Bayport, through Michael DeRosa, ANP-C, owner of Rejuvenation Solutions.

What is a Trigger Point?

Trigger points are hypersensitive, taut bands within a muscle that feel like knots or nodules under the skin. They often develop due to injury, chronic muscle strain, or poor posture. These spots can cause local pain or “referred pain,” where pain is felt in another area of the body.

Trigger point injections (TPI) are a quick, minimally invasive, in-office procedure used to treat myofascial pain by injecting a local anesthetic (often lidocaine) directly into “knots” (trigger points) in muscle tissue. These injections relax tight muscle bands, provide rapid pain relief, improve mobility, and can include corticosteroids to reduce inflammation.

Trigger point injections are covered under most major insurances. This is a PSA to all of our community members. With the start of the new year, insurance benefits for most carriers have reset. If you were receiving PT in 2025 and had to stop due to benefits running out, you can now start up again.

Hello everyone. If any of you are interested in contributing this Thanksgiving season, we are assisting the Johnny Mac Foundation on their food drive by serving as a drop-off location. All donations will be distributed to the Our Lady of Snow Food Pantry. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-7pm. The drop-off box is conveniently located inside our front door, in the waiting area. Thank you for considering this opportunity. We wish you a happy upcoming holiday season.
